The N.I.C.E. Team invites you and your family to our
PCA School-based Wellness Session #2.
Join us Saturday, Nov. 4 from 10-11:30 a.m. at any of the schools below where activities are hosted.
* Pottery healing – PCA High School (5390 S. Mendenhall Mall)
* Aerobic Cheer! – PCA Elementary – Hickory Hill (3540 S. Mendenhall Road)
This class will be taught by Coach Siera Ransom and include a combination of aerobics, dance and cheerleading.
* Meditative art and painting – PCA Southeast (8146 E. Shelby Drive)
* Tai chi for self-defense – PCA Middle – Hickory Hill (5449 Winchester Road)
Pick your favorite activity and meet us at that campus. Prizes will be raffled off at each location! The event is free and open to all ages, but we encourage you to pre-register at the link below. Even if you aren’t currently a member of our Village, you’re welcome to attend to learn more about Power Center Academy!
This family session is part of an ongoing series presented by Gestalt’s Network Inclusion, Culture and Equity (N.I.C.E.) Team, which has been tasked with codifying our current body of SEL work and planning authentic experiences that allow scholars, families and teachers to practice those skills through a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) lens.
